today wasn't our good day (as cohen likes to say). cohen had an accident at the local swimming pool during his lessons and banged up his lip and gums. we went for an emergency dentist appointment and the root looks fine, for now, but it is going to be touch and go as to whether or not his tooth is able to be saved.

I have been spending many hours outside watching the kids play while I toil away at restoring our amazing garden to it's original beauty. Today I managed to clean out all the invasive plants/vines in and around this fern so that it could reach it's tendrils with confidence up to the sun!
