bath time alone! cohen is off to grandma's for three nights. don't let the grin fool you though, it only took a few hours before she was missing him like crazy.

i am often asked who max looks like most, or people simply offer up their observation, and it always amazes me how completely differing people's opinions can be. i admit that i am terrible at the, "who does your baby look like?" game, and that includes playing it with my own children, so tonight i thought i would pull together a three month shot from each of them to have a look. even with them sitting right in front of me i am still not sure.

on the left is my friend nicole's baby, mabel, who was born on dec 13th, max born dec 9th (3 months today!), and then my friend megumi's son, sebastian, born dec 22nd (with all that hair!).

caught with my flashlight, well past bedtime, reading to each other in cohen's bed. also, why is it that in any photo taken at home cohen is never wearing more than underwear? never mind, i know the answer.

we went geocaching at rolley lake and it was significantly snowier than we had anticipated, which is to say we didn't expect/plan for any (although i did bring a thermos of sweet tea!).
